Joining the Event (We suggest you log in 30 minutes before the session starts to allow time to troubleshoot)

Here's what your seat at AFP ICON VIRTUAL will include:

  1. Three days of educational sessions (11 sessions in total) featuring some of the best content and speakers, including Gail Perry, Kishshana Palmer, Laura Fredricks, Sam Laprade and so many more. Plus, each session will be video-recorded so you can watch them at your leisure.

  2. Access to live bonus content, including interviews with top leading fundraisers discussing fundraising in challenging times.

  3. Surveys, discussion forums and other ways to connect and communicate with participants through the conference app!


  • The cost for AFP members to register for the full AFP ICON VIRTUAL experience is now $799 (and $999 for non-members).

  • You can also register for just one day of AFP ICON Virtual, Monday, March 30, and enjoy the full schedule of activities for that day at a price of $599 (and $699 for non-members).

  • In order to register for AFP ICON VIRTUAL, you must create an account in Blue Sky, our learning management system. If you do not already have a Blue Sky account (the same account you use to register for AFP webinars and e-courses but separate from your AFP membership record), creating an account is quick and easy.


If you’ve already registered for AFP ICON, Here are your options:

  1. Transfer your registration to AFP ICON VIRTUAL. The price is $799 for members and $999 for non-members, featuring 11 educational sessions plus interviews with leading fundraisers discussing topics like fundraising in challenging times. If you paid more for ICON, we’ll refund the difference and you can look forward to an amazing online program. Please note that pre-conference workshops are also cancelled, and will not be available during the virtual conference. Pre-con refunds will be issued in full by April 30, 2020.

  2. Transfer your registration to AFP ICON 2021 in Minneapolis, Minn., April 18 – 20. We can get you fully ready to go now, and you won’t have to worry about a thing leading up to AFP ICON next year.

  3. You can also donate part or all of your conference registration fee to the AFP Foundations for Philanthropy to help fund scholarships. This would be a tax-deductible donation. To donate, simply email by March 31, 2020, stating your intended donation amount.

And finally, if you want a full refund, you don’t have to do ANYTHING. If we don’t hear from you about any of those three options by March 31, 2020, we will simply refund your FULL conference registration. Refunds will be processed no later than April 30, 2020.
